THEY NEED WATER .. proper watering thru the root mass you planted.. and then near drying ...

DO NOTHING ELSE FOR AT LEAST TWO YEARS .. NOTHING!!!!

NO FERT.. no pruning.. no nothing.. got it????

your plants are highly stressed ... due to the planting.. and it will take a year or two to settle in ...

every leaf is a food making machine.. to grow the roots.. to get the plants established ... so we do NOT recommend pruning any of them off .. got it ...

in year three... we can thing about training and shaping.. for the future ...

the ONLY EXCEPTION.. is damage.. and we would prune of broken parts ..

so put down the shears.. and step away .. lol

ps: first pic.. see the lawn behind your JM .. that little 90 degree corner.. ask the guy who mows the lawn.. if that 90 degrees is the best option with a lawnmower .... its not.. so get rid of it.. it hurts my inner garden eye ... i mention it.. so you can start seeing these things.. more enabling.. lol .... or as botan might say ... it doesnt FLOW ... its a deadend and a right turn ....
