Hello,

I live in a suburb of Philadelphia. This tree in my backyard is about 4/5 story tall and must be over 15 years old. Almost all branches on the right side (pls see the picture) still don't have fresh leaves by now and the other side has much fewer leaves than other trees.

Well, first I have to admit I don't even know what kind of tree it is. Please see the picture of a leave as attached. All I know is the wood is surprisingly dense even for a chain saw.

Never had I applied any fertilizer/tree food to any trees for the past 5 years. All others seem to be doing fine.
I loves trees and hate to see this one gone.

My questions is:

1. What kind of tree is it?

2. Is it dying or developing some disease?

3. What can I do to save it? Is there anything particular thing in Lowes or HD that I can buy do save it?
