| Thanks for the quick reply! So I googled White Mulberry and it looks like it's known as a weed tree. Should I replace it with something else? |
|
| Depends on what you're looking for. Its a fast growing tree that may bear tasty fruit, or they may be rather bland and boring. Its hardy and trouble free. Obviously, it was cheap -- can't beat free. Not the best tree in the world, far from the worst. Dropped fruit can be messy, you probably would NOT wanted it planted in high foot traffic areas next to your house. |

| GET RID OF IT!!!!! It's a terrible invasive tree. It is breeding with native mulberries and creating hybrids, thereby reducing native populations. Plus, they are such weeds. Terrible. They rival Tree of Heaven in my area as far as weediness goes. We can't keep the stupid things away. The birds eat the gross, bland berries and drop them all over the place. Plus the fruit stink like sour wine in the summer once they fall and rot. You will regret having this tree if you keep it. Believe me. |
