Santa rosa plum tree problem

My santa rosa plum tree is dying and I'm hoping I can save it. I don't know whats wrong, this has happened within a week. It was healthy and now not so much. There was some ants but I got them out with soil conditioner. One branch seems like its been eaten into (see attached image), the leaves are more than weak, some starting to curl but still very green (i have more images if needed). Theres one or two small red blister looking spots on the trunk. I've tried to research this issue and haven't found anything yet. Any advise is welcome that may help me solve this problem. Thanks

How old is the tree, and how long has it been in this location?

The tree is a year and a few month and has been in this location the entire time that I've had it.
