| Hello,
My wife and I were in California a while ago and loved the eucalyptus trees that lined the neighborhoods. Unfortunately, living in Kansas, we don't have the weather of California. Does anyone have any suggestions on a tree that would be suitable that may resemble a eucalyptus and will grow in Kansas weather? Thanks! |

| Which attribute did you like the most? - large size - attractive bark - evergreen - Eucalyptus scent - rapid growth rate In Kansas (eastern), you should be able to grow a tree with at least one attribute...just not a Eucalyptus or one that smell like it. |

| Good questions smiv. Since op mentioned looks, how about a large leaf, non-weeping willow, or maybe chestnut? |
