It looks like Prunus persica (Peach) to me.

Indeed. Google image search would appear to corroborate your assessment. Kinda surprised since I didn't think it was that hardy (this is zone 5 after all).

Peach trees in my area (zone 5 as well) grow well but are hit or miss in fruits production due to late frost.

Also, a life of the tree may be short. Most of the mature peach trees have lopsided look with dying back branches.

I am hoping some fruits this year :)
