Does look like it needs to be watered. Water enough to keep the whole rooting area moist. Mulch the soil to reduce baking of the ground by the sun.

are you somewhere hot and dry? It could just be lack of water. Could also be bacterial or fungal leaf scorch :(

one would hope.. that a newly purchased tree came disease free from the vendor ...

its most likely ALL transplant shock ... especially if it was planted AFTER leafing out ...

once a leaf is shocked, and thereby damaged ... due to a loss of water due to root disturbance ... we cant really jump to disease and bug diagnosis ... in most cases ...
