I trans planted 3 holly trees in the fall. They lost all the leaves ,do you think they will come back?

I'm confused. What did you plant...a seed, a bare root tree, a potted tree?

I planted a small full tree,I transplanted them from another house.

I planted seedlings that were about 6 inches tall. I haven't seen any growth on them until this spring. In other words, all of last year, they were invisable. That is spring summer and fall of last year, they didn't show any sign of life.

That gives me some hope. I buy Holly every Christmas and plant it in January...it usually survives, but this I went with a native Holly and we had a harsher then normal winter...all the leaves on the three holly plants I planted turned brown in the Spring. Is there still hope the holly might have made it after all?

I can only tell you, it is possible, after mine appearing when I thought they never show up. Mine are American Holly, which should be the Pyramidal growing evergreen leaved trees. I bought mine on Ebay in 2012 or early 2013. The leaves browned up and were thought to be dead. I hope you find yours finally growing.
