Can someone Id this tree please.

At first glance it looks somewhat like a Cherry. To add more pictures reply to your own post or paste in the html code from a photo hosting site.

The lenticels on the bark suggest cherry to me as well.

I am not convinced it is a cherry. From what i've read crabapples can appear like a cherry tree. Also that cherry trees have little red glands on the leaves and these leaves do not.

The bark is clearly Prunus. Crabapples don't have the large horizontal lenticels. The habit, leaves and flowers are also wrong for a crab. They may look superficially similar insofar as they are both members of the Rosaceae and appear as five petalled, pink or white flowered spring blossom trees. But the two genera are actually pretty distinctive.
