| Nice. Mine isn't as big (after 7 seasons), but still handsome w/big leaves hanging vertically giving it a luxuriant look. Some male catkins, too, but no acorns yet. Rock chestnut & eastern white oaks were the dominant trees when I was in the rocky SW VA mountains. |

| Mine put out tons of acorns last season, I gave away one of the babies to my neighbor the other day. I removed lots of acorns in the fall and I'm pulling up more this spring. The growth difference may be because of all the rain we've had the past 4 years. Unless you have got lots too. I think someone on here said the coast has been dry near you. I could be wronge. |
