Fuji and Honeycrisp can cross pollinate each other.

how old are the trees ... have they produced previously ... and where are you .. and what if anything could have affected dormant buds .... like the freeze i got this year.. the day after the fruit trees bloomed ????

With the exception of some triploids that cannot pollinize at all, any apple variety can pollinate any other apple variety as long as bloom periods overlap. IOW, avoid a very early season apple with a late season apple. FWIW, Fuji, Honeycrisp and Red Delicious are all midseason bloomers so should offer adequate cross pollination for each other.

As Ken mentioned, late freezes during the bloom period and lack of pollinators (bees) can certainly affect fruit production.

You keep saying that you never 'see' people from the fruit forum here, but there are quite a number of us folks who are frequent visitors/posters here and at the Fruit & Orchards forum.
Just because we have a penchant for fruiting trees/plants, doesn't mean that we don't have an appreciation for, or knowledge of, 'ornamentals' or forestry/arboriculture concepts.
