RE: Florida pics

The first was this boatcar, it has it's own website and all that, but that just had to be posted here being so odd. The second of the pics is the gator that was in the pond right behind our RV, there were 2 of them in the pond and they make bullfrog noises all night. The third was taken at one of the big flea markets they have there, not Webster but close to Webster, it is a really beautiful Live oak. And the lizard is really smaller than the pic shows. He is a Cuban cousin of the native lizards of Florida. I forget the proper name for them. I have lots more pics of Florida, I think all my pics come up if you click on one of them. I 'm not sure about that but used to be what happened.

Nice live oak. The swamp looks suitably primeval. We have crocs in northern Australia but not where I live in Sydney. You'd have to go more than 1,000 miles north to see them.

I love the live oak too. Our White oak is very similar to the shape of the pictured Live oak. There were 2 of the little gators in a big pond in our RV park. As long as nobody feeds them they don't approach people. I sort of thought all of Australia was warm most of the year, with mild winters. I've seen on TV you guys have some of the most deadly creatures. Probably not where alot of people live. I've seen Crocs in Florida. I think they are more bulky headed than the gators. If you are new here, welcome to gardenweb!
