Lotus Berry Tree

I bought a couple of the Lotus Berry Trees from Okios this past winter. I planted them in two ten gallon pots to get them a bigger root system before I set the out next winter. They look a whole lot like Hackberry trees.
What I've researched on them they may not be hardy here in central Missouri but since they came from Michigan they should thrive here.
Does anybody have any first nhand knowledge on these trees? I read a story about the Lotus Eaters and wonder if this could produce an edible fruit.

Hopefully, they look exactly like hackberry trees, because that is what they are. Lotus Berry is Celtis australis, or European Hackberry. Oikos Tree Crops frequently use some weird name for their plants trying to make them seem special. They should be properly labeling their stuff with the correct scientific name.

This species should be hardy in central Missouri and it does produce edible fruit. Google the real name, Celtis australis, and you can find lots more info.

No help on the tree, but, I remember in Jr High school, my English teacher had us read about the lotus eaters. Wasn't it about some fantasy land or something like that? If I am remembering wrong, just excuse the crazy lady posting here. It was a strange story, if I remember right, though.
