Apple Cedar Rust

Did I blow it by pruning off all the branches from my serviceberry that was severely diseased with apple cider rust? I now have a clump of 3' sticks with no leaves. I know I acted hastily, but it's too late. =(

blow it??? who knows...

act prematurely... probably...

will it recover ... maybe.. i cant tell.. based on the pic .... i cant imagine it wont releaf ...

but your actions may not have removed the problem from the branches???

who made the diagnosis for you ... ???

one thing for sure.. you didnt pollute the earth with chemicals ... so one thumb up for that ....

there shouldnt be many things in the garden.. that require such immediate response.. you found us.. next time.. give us a few days to make recommendations .... in other words.. next time.. dont panic ....
