here is the root of the issue ...

my first 20 conifers/trees ... went within 25 feet of the view below ...

who the heck knew they had annual growth rates.. for basically the rest of my life ... all are moved or gone now ...

but this one remains in its original space ... who knew ...

it will get hand pruned ... i will work it out ...

all 20 plants within 25 feet of of the chair and the wall ... after about 4 years.. couldnt see the rest of the yard .. lol ... live and learn .. killed an 8 foot golden ghost and variegated sweetgum.. trying to move them ... they lived thru winter.. only to be killed by a late freeze ...

I may work on some photos, but don't expect anything like what Ken has. Most of my personal collection is pretty young and a lot of it is just planted out in the middle of fields. It's not the lavish display Ken presents. Maybe in another decade it will be worth a visit. Of course, if Ken starts donating specimen size plants, maybe we can move the opening date up (-;
