it is not a bur oak. Bur would have rounded margins. It is something in the red oak group. I am not familiar with Texas oaks, sorry :(

Turkey oak? I have seen leaves like that in a tree ID book. I am not familiar with Texas oaks either, I am guessing also. It looks a little like Burr, but it has pointy edges. Cherrybark oak? Even Bear oak looks a bit like that. Bear oak is a small tree if I remember right. The 2 leaves look different from each other to me. I guess if you know what to look for they aren't, I don't know what to look for, so offered my crappy guesses. If you look at twigs and bark on the tree that would help some more knowledgeable peeps on here.

It doesn't look like any normal oak naturally found in north Texas to me.

It does look similar to the ones poaky mentioned.
