good species to plant in groves

Just a fun discussion. What are some of your favorite trees to plant in close proximity in small groups or groves of a single species (or even cultivar if you want even more uniformity)?

My list:

-Sugar Maple
-Cryptomeria
-Dawn Redwood
-Baldcypress
-Liriodendron

For me it seems like conifers in general are good trees to plant in groves.

I'll include two from the OP, Bald Cypress and Dawn Red, then add..,

Magnolia grandiflora (especially good for year round screening)
    Eastern Hemlock
White birch (don't gave any of these but always thought look great in a grove)

This is a photo of my aspen grove, planted about 10 years ago with 5' bare root trees.

Aspen, ferns, and hydrangea -- that's a nice look, Nurseryman.
