Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone could help me. I bought my first two fruit trees six months ago (Ballerina columnar apples) and it is now winter here. One of the apple trees has begun to produce apples on its crown ( each the size of a golf ball thus far).

Not sure why it is producing - although we are having a warmer start to Winter than usual.

Should I pull these off and hope that the tree gets its act together and begins producing in Spring or should I leave them?

Appreciate any help or advice as I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to growing fruit.
