Have you tried fertilizer? Also, check the root flare to make sure is isn't buried too deep. Don't forget to mulch!

Nope, they used to rebrand some, but now they are partnered with Stihl. The old JD saws were a nightmare (they never really got into the business in a serious way, IMO, and you could tell).
