conifer ID and removal

Does anyone know what kind of tree in this picture?

My guess is deodar cedar. Someone forgot about it :/

I am wondering if it can be carefully removed without calling the tree company. the trunk size at half way 20', I think is around 3-4"

By the way, there is no access (only 32" fence gate) for power equipment, how much do you think is reasonable cost?

you are asking us... if you are capable of doing it yourself??? .. how would we know????

whats on the camera side of the bench???

a living conifer.. is pretty soft ... i have seen peeps do bigger.. with a good hand saw.. a good ladder.. and good care for safety ... and then a chainsaw for the final cut .... but they were usually able to allow the bare trunk fall on grass ...

i myself.. refuse to use a chainsaw on ladder ....

i have no clue what the cost would be in CA ...

get 3 estimates.. from tree guys WITH INSURANCE ... and somewhere in those 3.. will be what it costs in CA ...

i would not bother with grinding out the stump ...
