| Tian Xiang Tai Ge
O Fragrans "Tian Xiang Tai Ge (Heavenly Fragrant Pagoda)", the exclusive cultivar has flowers the size of normal Jasmine (up to 0.8 inch diameter). The perfume (best between 15 to 22 degree Celsius)is excessively strong and the plant is an ever bloomer with the peak of flowers between September and April the second year. It is a named cultivar developed by the late horticulturist Pao Chiqian in the 70's. Yue Yue Hong Yue Yue Hong (monthly red) is a cultivar from Guangxi province. A naturally occurred mutation; it is the only four-season O Fragrans with orange/red blooms. It is a shrub/small tree of up to 5 meters. Their leaves are shiny but narrow. Some leaves have smooth edge, others have saw-like edge. In normal climate, it blooms 100 days each year. The red flowers may fade if the temperature is high. Some say that they lose red color if you grow them indoors. It is a very rare cultivar. |

| Wonderful! You have an osmanthus growing indoors? I have one planted by my back door. It blooms intermittently throughout the year, and I love to smell the blooms when I go into my back yard. |
