I have a 2 year old lavender twist Redbud tree: I noticed a branch oddly sticking up and out of the weeping branches so I went to go trim it. I then discovered that it was actually a small redbud tree, growing at the base of the redbud.

Would it be too difficult to transplant this, it's only a few inches from the trunk of the mother plant.
If I were able to transplant it, does it need to be trained to become weeping?
How long would it take to mature?
