but compare with juniper virginiana ...

an invasive weed tree in some areas ... probably where they pop up in driveways .. lol ...

a native down south ...

that potting media is good enough to hold it.. until fall planting time ... though if it is Jv ... that really isnt an issue ...

but if you plan on growing a conifer/tree in a pot.. you could do much better with media ... [think about how foo foo good that potting media is.. compared to where it self sowed in what i presume is gravel ...
