Wax myrtle -- post transplant

jankay

Looks like only one part of this wax myrtle survived the transplant. Should I leave it as it is or cut back the part that is not flourishing? Any chance the rest of it could make a comeback? This one is meant to fill a hole in a line of six other WM's. It was free, so I was just taking a chance on the transplant anyway. I'm very patient, so I don't mind waiting for it to grow up.

(Ignore the date on the photo -- this was made yesterday.)
