what is this?

I had this given to me a few years ago and love it but have no idea what it is. The stalk is very velvety so we have always called it a stag horn but would like to know the real name.

Looks like cutleaf staghorn sumac, Rhus typhina.

Yes, Rhus typhina,'Lanciniata' or 'Dissecta'.

well.. at least on this one.. you tried to use yourself as a sun shade .. lol ...

now ... what about trying to take a pic in non-blistering sun.. lol ...

wonder if i was right on the elderberry... eweeee i was.. ca-ching ...
