Idaho Locust

Have an Idaho Locust that continuely suckers off roots.
Would like to transplant in othe location but have had no success in doing so. Transplants do ok for a while then die
anyone have any ideas

If grafted on black locust root sprouts won't be the pink one anyway. If you have not seen the same pink flowers on any of the sprouts you may be trying to grow black locust.
