What kind of tree is this?

In northern NJ there is a beautiful arboretum that I visit on occasion. I noticed they had two of the trees pictured below, which clearly seems to be a maple. Unfortunately I didn't think to check if there was an ID tag on the tree.

The unusual thing about it is the lime-green to yellow color. This is not just a young maple because other maples this size are much greener. Also, it isn't diseased because there is another exactly like it on another part of the property. I'm not crazy about maples, but next dark green foliage this "yellow maple" really stands out.

Can anyone "un-clueless" me?
