| i need to find a shade tree for my front yard. califorina native water wise wont invade my pipes and sewer lines. |

| Not sure where you are but Laurus noblilis 'Saratoga', while not a native, plays well with natives and makes an attractive single or multi-trunked tree. It is used extensively in the Bay Area. |
