Eucalyptus polyanthemos

What are the pros/cons of planting this tree, Eucalyptus polyanthemos, in a "neighborhood yard" in this climate (15 miles N of FL border?) Is this something that will later be generally cursed or appreciated? Is this one the gangly, gnarly thing I see in people's yards occasionally? Looks like they top-out around 25 feet here...? How far from the street or a fence would it need to be? Do I need to consider it as a solid column, down to the ground? Do mature ones have heavy enough shade to kill the grass under them?

It is uncommon in the southeastern U.S. I have seen a few and they were usually scraggly and only slightly different looking than E. cinerea. There are better species - such as E. gunnii, E. neglecta, E. nicholii..

Thanks for the response!

I'm kind of lost on the comparisons, knowing nothing about Eucalyptus except that this is the kind of tree I saw for sale. In search images, I saw some good-looking trees, but in person, like you said, the ones I see driving look like they need pruning badly. However, if that's just what they do, like a weeping willow, pruning could be an exercise in futility if they just grow back like that again.
