Mastic Tree or Little Leaf Ash

We are looking for a few smaller trees in our backyard that will end up screening our block wall. Narrowed it to these two. Looking for low little, no thorns, thick foliage. Anyone have any experience with these? We have seen the Mastic's at a few nursery's in the valley, but have been unable to find anyone who carries teh Littleleaf Ash. Guess that might end up being the deal breaker...

Desert Trees Wholesale Nursery in Tucson has both the Mastic and Little Leaf Ash.
