Just keep it well watered....no need to do anything else.....the tree will take care of itself.....

namcc, I recall reading Serviceberry is a difficult transplant so given the situation yours might not be doing that bad.

Is it mulched?

Stick your thumb into the rootball to make sure water is getting to the roots. I was just fooling around in some pots today where I had a mixture of soil types which did not mix after two years or transfer water particularly well.

now that water is restored.. and hopefully PROPER ...

all you can do is continue such.. and wait for next spring...

the thing is NOT going to 'look' better this year ... damaged leaves will not UN-damage themselves .... we will have to ignore that.. and keep an eye out ....

but you might get some new low growth near the soil line... and that will tell you how well you are doing ....
