I'm looking at options for an ornamental tree in our front foundation area. Height no more than 8', width no more than 4-5'. I'd like an upright variety, but I'm open to other ideas. Love the look and color of Japanese Maples, but I wonder if there's a variety that is upright, but dwarf. I live in zone 5, face west, gets lots of afternoon sun, and is fairly protected. Thanks!
