Lop the top.

Looks like it has a natural weeping habit. Have a look at the side branches. At least some of them I should say.

About the only thing that can be done is to tie a stake to the trunk and straighten the leader that way, tieing it to the stake. You'll just have to find a place where/when you tie the stake that it's very stable so when you pull on the crooked leader the stake remains fairly rigid. Be sure you use a stretchable garden tape, or, I often will use a 'garage towel' to tie something tight with string, wrapping the towel completely around the trunk. That way you can get some strength while the towel allows breathable air space to the tree.

The tree is planted, beautifully, I might add. Looks like everything was completely, correctly.

There could be a host of reasons why the leader shot off to the side and why only some of the branches appear weeping but the most-likely is being bunched in with other trees where some branches may have seen more light than others, i.e., but that's pure speculation on my part.

i would also cut it.. and let some of the secondary branches become leaders.. and then remove extra until i had one... this might take a few years ...

no scale .. so i dont know how tall it is... but i think its too tall for staking and guy lines all over the yard ...

pruning for structure and training.. is not that big a deal ...

since its a recent transplant.. i would leave it be ..... until the leaves fall off in fall.. and prune then ... lets grow some roots before we remove the food making machines ...

i wouldnt have paid full price for something like this ...

but a bargain is a bargain ... and ANYTHING can be pruned into shape ...
