Container Trees

What are some affordable fast growing trees that would do well indoors? And possibly flower or fruit? I am in the process of growing citrus but they grow slowly.

RE: Container Trees

probably none.. in the long run ...

and why you would want a fast growing tree .. which by definition grows 3 to 5 to 7 feet per year.. why you would want it indoors is beyond me ...

trees are not houseplant ... short of learning all about bonsai ...

there are so many variables to perfect ... that one rarely wins... such as lack of sunlight... humidity ... pot media ... proper watering ... etc ...

and without full sun ... most flowering trees will not bloom indoors... and that includes fruiting ...

trying to do this indoors.... is not really a tree question ... i suspect there might be other forums.. where you could get better ideas.. like the container forum.. citrus forum... houseplant forum etc ...

and when you go other places.. it would be in your best interest to tell peeps where you are... and why they would need to be indoors all year long ...
