| The title says it all. They're both great individually, but I just wandered. Q. Alba has such a large area of growth in the eastern US I thought it may be possible. There could be some that were hand pollinated too. I already did a web search and got nowhere. I alraedy know about the Comptons oak. |

| According to the link Live Oak hybridizes with: Q. bicolor Q. durandii Q. lyrata Q. macrocarpa Q. minima Q. stellata If you don't see what you want you could always try spreading around a little pollen yourself next Spring. |

| Sam md I can't because I can't get the pollen to do it with. I don't have a mature specimen of either tree. I had done a search and saw those known hybrids, I was just wondering about alba/virginiana.It is probably possible. |
