cutting down an old tree

Big question: in storm last winter, three of my four old jack pines were topped off and drooping dead limbs. i had them cut down but left the fourth one which is now standing alone toward the east (by the sea--i am quarter mile from ocean) and it has some dead limbs is 80 feet high so bucket truck can't really do the trick and almost everybody suggests i cut it down. if it falls it will hit the house directly. it is healthy except for the limbs of course but pines have shallow roots , it has no protection from other trees....the arborists say cut. but i am still hesitating. my friend says it will just top off in a storm and thus not threaten the house. but what if. any suggestions. i can send on pictures if need be.
thanks.
