| What happened to this tree??
The tree was planted at the beginning of April of this year. The backyard is watered by sprinklers 3 times a week for 7 minutes each time, at 6am. Also, all the trees are watered by hand every other day for about 2-3 minutes each. A couple of days ago the tree was all at the sudden in this condition, from bright green to ...this!!

| Water deeply by hand every other day right now. Feel for moisture with your hands so you know what it needs. Bald Cypress need good moisture in this current heat/drought. |

| you know how big the root ball was.. it HAS TO be moist.. throughout that root mass .. a couple minutes here.. and a couple minutes there.. is NOT getting water down into the root mass.. ken |
|
| Ditto on the deep watering. Baldcypress sheds foliage when it gets thirsty as a natural protection against drought. Should recover if you deep water like dricha and ken say. hortster |

| Your watering approach sounds totally wrong for a tree that size. 6 minutes of sprinkler water just simply won't cut it. What are you doing exactly for those 2-3 minutes of hand watering? |
|
| Ditto on the above. Transplanted Tree of that size should have hose on it for about 20 minutes on slow at least once a week. Does not appear to be getting sufficient water. Your other trees are probably not getting enough water either if you are only watering for 2-3 minutes. |
