Greenspire Linden Tree - what's wrong

Hi everyone, I planted a greenspire linden tree last summer and this spring the leaves came back lush and green and things looked good. A couple of weeks ago I started noticing the leaves were getting spots on them and turning brown. What could be wrong? Thanks for any help!

um.. its fall ... and the leaves are shutting down ..

perhaps a bit early .. for some reason ...

but you dont tell us where you are.. what your weather has been.. or really much of anything.. for us to guess on ..

see those buds where the ugly leave attache ... they are fat and happy.. and ready for next year ...

only a nut would suggest you spray something on a tree.;.. that will lose its leaves.. rather soon ...

for the sake of knowledge.. it would be nice to know what the process is... but a lot of things.. attack leaves that are shutting down ... and i wouldnt worry one minute about it all ... but if it were early spring.. then i MIGHT be concerned ....
