Tree (I think)

I found a section of a downspout in my guttering that was clogged with maple seeds and misc debris and there was a small crack in the gutter from which this was growing (which led me to the clog). I managed to get a lot of root out with it. So I'm curious, is it a tree? It feels very solid.

It looks like a piece of shrub honeysuckle which is an invasive non-native shrub (there are several species such as Lonicera maackii).

Yes, definitely the dastardly Asian Honeysuckle. Please unpot and destroy.
