You figure it out after the fact...

I've gotten a few plants mail order that I've determined after the fact that I've recieved the wrong cultivar. Whether its late in the growing season or even a couple years later.

Has this happened to anyone else and what have you done? Did the vendor fix the issues?

One culviar in particular took two years to verify it was an imposter. I contacted the vendor to find out what cultivar it might have been. The vendor didn't know and was out of the correct cultivar. They offered to send a similar cultivar...fairly impressed.

I have another which I got this spring that I've dtermiend is incorrect due to the color reversion. Waiting to hear back from them.
