| Hi! I am looking for suggestions on dwarf trees no taller or wider than 15' that would go well near endless summer hydrangeas and knockout roses and pine trees. It would probably be best for part shade.
I was considering a weeping cherry "snow mountain" and lavender twist redbud. Any other ideas? Thanks! |

| do understand.. that most trees NEVER stop growing.. most size estimates are at 10 years.. and at 20.. they can be twice as big ... its all about how much they grow in one year.. the annual growth rate ... and that is usually one tenth of the estimated size ... redbud does fine in shade .. but i would wonder about how good the cherry would flower in shade ... perhaps others will now ... value every response whatever location the info comes from.. but some of our most knowledgeable peeps.. are in zones that might not be equivalent to our z5 ... e.g. not many of the foo foo cherries.. will in fact.. take a hard z5 winter .. all depending on your little microclimate ... [and do not be confused that bigboxstore will sell them to you, improperly labeled] ken |

| Heptacodium miconioides as a single trunk has a lot of interest. Dax |

| Thank you, Ken, for the info. I did not know that the estimates were for 10 years. Dax, thank you for the suggestion. The tree seems to be beautiful but a bit bigger than what I can fit in that area. The tree will be in between some white pines and an older oak tree. |
