So, after a heavy rain last night, one of the branches of a Dynamite Red broke off. I have several varieties ('Dwarf Hopi', 'Zuni', 'Catalpa', etc.). This is the second year this happened to this particular Dynamite (other one was fine, probably as flowers were not yet in full bloom on it). Anyway, can I propagate the branch that fell off? Will it root in water, or should I use a sandy soil? (Pretty humid, so don't think I need to put it in a baggie.) Thanks in advance.
