Please help ID this tree

Like the looks of this tree. Looks like a pepper tree, but not sure. Also looks like a weeping willow. Root system? Im new to all this so i shall just ask. lol

Ordinarily in Portland this would be a willow but bark as it appears in this view may indicate it is something less usual.

no clue at that distance ...

but let me assure you.. that is one finely pruned specimen ... it is not what you are going to get simply by naming it.. and planting it..

you will have to learn how to prune.. and keep at it.. over the years ...

Very Nice was that shot taken at Huntington Gardens in Pasadena? One of my fav. So Cal spots. If not it sure looks like it is a well run garden, ask the head gardener.

That is at the Japanese Garden in Portland... Washington Park. It could be something from Japan.. Could it be a Weeping Cherry, then?
