| That is the inflorescence itself, surrounded by 3 petals. If pollinated, each one of those structures will produce a seed in that cone shaped structure that you've partially exposed in the last picture. |

| I don't know - what kind is it? Sometimes natural variation will produce an odd flower or characteristic (like a variegated leaf). Sometimes these can be propagated and turned into cultivars. |

| esh, this is a species. All flowers are like this. I think I also heard that the flowers are mono-sexual or something like that. (Of course, I don’t understand) |

| esh, other mags seem to have two different kinds of things on the center rod. But this species has only one kind. |
