Hi
I have a 4 to 5 year old grape vine that for two years has produced small bunches of small grapes(its a cabernet variety)
its in a large frost free pot and watered and fed regularly.Is it because its in a pot that the grapes are small?Any help will be much appreciated.

fruit people will know better, but I believe you have to prune the heck out of the grape vine to get it to produce heavily the way you want.

See the link below. I believe potted vines do not need to be pruned as heavily, but your friend google and the fruit forums should be able to help.
