Apple tree in back yard

Can anyone tell me what this is and what from??
I had planted that tree from an apple core.
I live in Northern Minnesota.

there is a fruit forum.. some of those experts.. i have never seen here in the tree forum ..

apple production requires spraying of the trees.. from prior to flowering.. all summer long .. with a multitude of chemicals to fight off disease and insects.. while trying not to kill the good ones ...

this is the number one reason.. i do not bother with apples ... they are like a high maintenance girlfriend ... the cost/benefit ratio is weighted to high to cost.. lol ..

ps: there is nothing wrong with those apples.. if you peel them and turn them into pie ... mmmmmm

Yes, but her apples are sooooo tasty!

Aside, the apple likely is not the same as what you planted, unless it was an heirloom. From the store, who knows what you'll get.
