You should be able to look up and see which tree is producing these. Then take a pic of the tree and post here.

probably oak apple galls

Cut one in half (around the equator) and post a picture.

Is there an oak on your neighbor's property? Those galls look nearly identical to oak apple gall (see link).

It's Ficus benjamina or Ficus nitida (retusa).
