| My Mimosa tree has leaf yellowing on its outer branches. The tree appears healthy and is growing vigorously despite this discoloration. Can someone please identify the issue? Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks.

| It is the end of the year so foliage problems are probably not as important as in the spring. The discoloration is unique. Get a lot of rain or anything unusual lately? Does not look like you have done paving or anything near the tree. People in the conifer forum (including me) pay big bucks for cloned trees with unusual color in the new growth. It is an invasive mimosa but keep an eye on this one. Perhaps next year if it does the same thing you can try to root a cutting or two. There is an eye catching chololate mimosa someone propigated that is available commercially. |
