Can anyone help me identify this maple? I think it's a black maple but I'm not sure, and it could also be a black-sugar hybrid. As you can see, it's a large tree that grew alongside a creek in the natural part of my property. It has good fall color that comes in patches, every year some parts turn to a pinkish-orange long before other sections. Thanks!
