Tree & Disease ID See Pictures

Hi all,
I live in North Ft. Worth. 3 seasons ago I bought several red oaks from Home Depot. We've all seen them in pots, sitting out in front of the store, 6-8 feet tall, labeled "Red Oak".
They've been growing nicely, however, I've had people say they are not Red Oaks, but they are Shumard Oaks. Recently someone told me they were not red oaks nor shumards, but Texas Red Oak. Just out of sheer curiosity, can anyone identify them based on these pictures?
Also, look at these leaves one of the trees have these spots all over the leaves. It hasn't affected the overall growth of the tree at all. Any ideas what this is?
I have Gator Bags and water the trees regularly in the summer and even few times per month in winter.

Lastly, this is from one of my Oaks without the spots. However, with this leaf, it seems to have very light veins in it. Any idea what the lighter veins mean? Could it indicate a different species of Oak?

assuming they are NOT evergreen oaks ... its fall ...

after a hard hot summer ... maybe even drought ...

its fall ... they will fall off ... it really isnt a time for us to be worried about leaf problems ...

leaves shut down for fall.. based on the suns reduced capacity as the earth tilts for winter ... its not really a calender thing to a tree ... and the impact on the tree is further affected by hot summer.. drought.. etc ....

i have at least a dozen various oaks ... none that you list... and i have never been concerned about leave issues.... none of your leaves are so affected.. that they did not do their inherent job... its just not really an option to treat them.. IMHO ...

all that said.. knowledge is power.. and if that is all you are seeking .. all the power to ya ...

and if they are an evergreen type... i am sure.. someone can take off on that aspect .. hopefully not on me.. lol...

Leaf blemishses of the type shown on your oak are never serious concerns, and especially at this time of year, it is to be expected that some insect feeding will have occurred, some fungal pathogens will have set up shop. But not a serious issue, and certainly not one calling for a control regimen. That way lies madness.
